At the recent launch of Airtel Touching Lives Season 5 in Lagos, the Vice President of Nigeria, Prof. Yemi Osibanjo, said- "what separates us as humans, is the capacity to show kindness and help others out of despair." Airtel has committed to the Touching Lives project for 5 seasons and has assisted, individuals, families & communities that have touched over 3 million people.
At a young age, Adekunle's arms were tied behind his back for a number of days. Due to the lack of blood flow to his hands, he had to have them amputated. Despite his disability, Adekunle gets up at 04h00 every day and travels to the bridge at St Agnes Maryland bus stop. This is where he spends his day keeping the area clean for all the passersby. It's incredible to see what the passers-by do in return.
